THE GAME:

This game is the successor to MACROSS: Tour of Duty, a board based RPG running from the end of the nineties to early two-thousands. While MTOD focused on the United Nations point of view, M2W explores the other side of the independence war for Proxima.

This game aims to bring both the classic mecha action and military setting that are common to most Macross RPG's, but also embrace a more light-hearted storytelling, in phase with the style of japanese animation.

Target rythm is one post a week, with possible faster interactions at the players discretion.

OUR HEROES:

Player characters are inhabitants of Proxima, living in the small town of Kimon Fields , a farming community located on the terraformed side of the planet. Before being anything else, they are members of the community: artisans, farmers, shopkeepers or students... Then, they also happen to be reserve members of the Proxima Self-Defense Force, maintaining the District's military base: Hisao Horiyama Airfield.

The base is home to the 3rd Air Guard Regiment, with its variable fighter complement, destroïds, security detachement and support personnel.
