- I will always post a Difficulty Level (DL) for any required checks.
- To save time, I'll roll all initiative checks, please respect this and post according to your initiative when posting in combat scenarios.
- Unless you botch, or achieve a natural 19 or 20, you're free to RP the success/failure of the check. In the case of 19/20 or 1, I'll indicate the effects in my next post.
- Edge cannot be applied to both Effort and Skill costs, it can only be applied to one or the other.
- For skill checks you are trained in, add 3 to your skill roll (1d20 + 3), if specialized (1d20 + 6), etc.
- For rolls that you have assets, benefits, or anything that reduce the difficulty of a roll, instead add 3 to your roll. (Ie. a D4 task is reduced to a D3 for Character X because of their cypher's current effect. Character X rolls 1d20 + 3.)
- If you use effort, indicate on the roll in the log, add 3 to your roll, and reduce your associated pool by the required amount. I will be checking this
- Example:
Basic Jump D6 Check: 1d20
Trained Jump D6 Check: 1d20 + 3
Trained with Effort D6 / Specialized Jump D6 Check: 1d20 + 6
Specialized with effort Jump D6 Check: 1d20 + 9
Specialized with effort and asset Jump D6 Check: 1d20 + 12
Combat Scenarios
- I will roll initiative for all PCs in combat scenarios to save time. This will become the posting order.
- Players roll all attack rolls.
- The GM will post a round response after each PC has a chance to post their action.
- In the advent of a stall in posts, I reserve the right to temporarily NPC the character and roll basic actions for the round.
- I will roll defense rolls for the players to save time.
- If you want to use effort to defend, indicate as much in your post.
- Enemy HPs will not be displayed. Killing blows will be indicated in a GM post and the description of the killing strike will be handed to the appropriate character.
