Old Coal Power Plant
A massive, coal fired complex that was permanently bombed out commission the day after the war spread to Poland. The same bombing raid incidentally, also took out the Gdansk Refinery. Once, a 15,000 square meter mountain of coal sat next to the plant, but after being slowly eaten away by freezing survivors there wasn't much left after three winters. The Merchant Union's roots began as the authorities charged with rationing the coal, and the plant remains a primary source of revenue for the cartels to this day, albeit from a different fuel source. Although some coal remained, or whenever a barge managed to come up the Vistula with more, business these days was centered around biofuel distillation. The riverside location and the remaining structures, including liquid holding tanks and ample piping, all make it ideal as a distribution center for liquid fuel.
