Residential Courts

As select members of society, you don’t get to spend too much time in the workers’ residential blocks, as you either have rooms at the inn, or your own homes.   However, you will have visited a few times.  The doors at the back of the square lead to stairways that give access to basic rooms for the workers.  While they aren’t up to the standard of your accommodation, they are (probably) a bit better than most common labourers would get in most towns and cities.  The doors on each side lead to small apartments for the skilled workers.  Unlike the corridors, the area is about sixty feet high, with, rows of windows stacks one above the other, indicating that there are four storeys of rooms, or apartments, behind each wall.

The middle of the square contains a small seating area with a few plants.
