The Main NPCs
- The Innkeeper - the silent owner of Netherworld, who is rarely seen and only communicates telepathically. Many believe him to be a Quasi-Deity of great power.
- Nishka - resides in a great tower next to the hub. She is rarely seen and conducts business through her agent. She, too, is rumoured to be a Quasi-Deity, and some even say that she is The Innkeeper's lover.
- The Agent - Nishka's Agent, to be precise. A magical looking female, probably human, who is said to be immortal.
- The Librarian - A pale looking half-elf who is part librarian and part sage, who undertakes much of the day to day running of Netherworld. The rumours say that he has been here forever.
