A complete list of developments available to build in Netherworld, with their economic rating and a brief description. The Economic Rating represents a base value for the income calculations, and just gives an indication of whether they will earn more or less, in relation to the other developments in this list.
To generate an income, they must be part of a business. Designated Crafter Characters can own their Character Level number of Economic developments. Other characters may only own two economic developments from the second part of the list.

- Crafters Shop 7: (Storefront, Office, Storeroom and Vault) The public facing side of the Craft Businesses. A designated Crafter Character my own ONE of these.
- Netherworld Craft Workshop 10: (Workstation, Storeroom) Where you make non-magical items. It counts as MW Tools, and come with an assistant capable of Aid Another for a total of +4 bonus to ONE craft Skill. A designated Crafter Character may ‘own’ more than one of these, and can take control of an empty workshop for 420gp, in Building Credit.

- These developments are all fitted with masterwork Tools and come with assistants who can Aid Another. They, therefore, give a +4 to any (appropriate) task that you undertake in the room.

- Alchemy Lab 10: A lab for making Alchemical items. Costs (390 gp);
- Animal Pen 8: Suitable for keeping small or medium-sized animals. Somehow, the creatures must be collected and brought to Netherworld. cost (250 gp)
- Artisan’s Workshop 10: Used for Magical Crafting Costs (360 gp);
- Brewery 10 - allows you to ferment or distill ingredients such as fruits and grain to create potent beverages. Costs 380gp. NOTE: Esmerelda has one working the Pears from the Orchard. Any other brewery on Netherworld must find a different crop to work.
- Classroom 8: Only generates an income as part of a school. Cost (250 gp)
- Dojo 8: Military practice area, which only generates an income as part of a school. Cost 310gp.
- Farmland 10: fertile land used for farming or fodder for livestock. NOTE: This is a special purchase and has limited availability. If used for livestock, the animals must be collected and brought to Netherworld. Cost600.
- Garden 8: Small area for growing plants - Flowers, herbs, fruit or vegetables. NOTE: This is a special purchase and has limited availability. Cost 180
- Hatchery 5: A Hatchery is used for nesting and hatching egg-laying creatures such as birds or lizards, fish, shellfish, or other egg-laying creatures. Note that the animals must be collected and brought to Netherworld. Cost 170 gp.
- Mill 8: A simple hand-powered mechanism to process grain, foodstuffs, and other raw materials. Cost 300gp.
- Scriptorium 5: For writing tasks, such as scribing scrolls or using Craft (calligraphy) or Profession (scribe).. Cost 320gp. (320 gp);
- Scrying Room 2: A caster using scrying, locate creature, or a similar targeted divination from here increases the spell’s DC by 1. Cost 550gp
- Workstation 8: counts as masterwork artisan’s tools for one Craft or Profession skill, and comes with an Assistant who can Aid Another. This is a catch-all, and covers all non-magical crafting not specified elsewhere. Cost 300gp.
