Forest City

Forest City is a community on Portowa Island, in Gdansk. They are led by Walter Lisiewicz. Nearly all of the inhabitants are involved in farming, although there's an interest in reactivating the local textile mill. Forest City provides approximately 8-10% of the food needs for Gdansk. They also donate a significant amount of food to the Marian Enclave. Some of the high transmission towers have been converted into elevated observation posts. Although they are located on the Motlawa River, the community does not appear to possess any boats.

Although limited in manpower, the Forest City militia controls one the largest single territories. They suffered heavy casualties during the late summer battles, particularly among their leadership. Further losses, including desertions, have occurred following a series of nighttime hit and run attacks. Bandit activity has been officially blamed for the raids, although it is strongly believed that the Merchant Union is involved somehow. This was later indirectly confirmed by Pawel Brozek. The militia has recently been given some training by McCarthys Mad Dogs.
