- The Hind from the other night returns, flying along the river. It destroys the BMP and Ben Jagelis with it. It’s cannon during the pass also kills Agahu. One of the PCs firing at it scores a solid hit and the Mi-24 goes down further off in the city.
- Istvan Medgyessy temporarily joins the group (a player briefly takes over one of the Anjo gang members) The rest of the PCs end up escaping the Polish battalion's onslaught, with the 4 remaining heads of the MU in tow (2 had been shot), and everyone regroups back near the billet.
- Kurt Weiss and Marc St Gil head to the church ferrying casualties, and find Fox, who is ready to rejoin the unit. While at St. Mary's, the unit finds out an update on Stone. It turns out that Stone won’t ever walk normally again, was now living nearby with a nurse, and won’t be returning to the unit. Henry Jordan has died. George Rawlinson the chaplain has returned to working with the IB.
- JJM goes to visit the IB command post and soon returns. Volodnya goes back to Anjo territory to speak with his boss.
- The Mad Dogs then stand down, and try to figure out their next mission. Lt. Pearce reports that command had picked up 2 Americans from the 8th, stragglers reporting in. JJM has them sent over. Caleb Mulcahy and Jed Black join the PCs.
- The team then splits into two groups.
- The Hind from the other night returns, flying along the river. It destroys the BMP and Ben Jagelis with it. It’s cannon during the pass also kills Agahu. One of the PCs firing at it scores a solid hit and the Mi-24 goes down further off in the city.
Group 1:
- JJM takes Group 1 (JJM, Pearce, Mitchell, Weiss, Black) to the church to see about recruiting some additional bodies to their unit. While at the church, they learn that Matt Doyle has been released from jail. Felix Steinhoff (NPC) joins the party, along with about 10 npc fighters includingJanusz, Ferro, Zajac Narutowicz (dual pistol wielding Chelm man from Chapter 3), Low Blow (from Kaminski's Hotel Europa crew who had been met but never named until now) and Aleksandar (the firefighter from Nowe Ogrody).
- Group 1 then meets a man who offers to sell them more weapons, and follow him to the docks where they buy some vintage automatic weapons and bolt action rifles. They then get word that the Russian attack has started again, and are given orders to head to the church and to rally their men for a mission to provide flank security for a counterattacking force of IB men.
Group 2:
- Meanwhile Group 2 (Friedmann, Mulcahy, Benucci, Babicevs, and Meyer), lead by Oskar, heads south to check out the defensive lines and also look for Hauptmann Schweppenburg (to kill).
1st Engagement South of the Golden Gate
(Continued)
- Now regrouped, the Mad Dogs learn more about their new mission - to protect light munitions factories north of the thieves market. The Mad Dogs will be supporting the attacks's right flank, along with 2 platoons of IB and 2 platoons of militia. The mission from a strategic perspective is to counter-attack against the Pact forces just north of the old city - capture the buildings just north of the Solidarity Market, and then hold them against the Russians. This will ensure that the light munitions factories can continue putting out ammunition for the local forces. The mission will be broken into three phases, with objectives A, B, and C along the line of advance.
