Chapter 3 - Gdansk : July 29, 2000
Summary: The team gets into a huge fight in Wislinka, then some head to Gdansk to find some parts while the others make camp. Later, they all attempt to go to Gdansk together and get into another firefight.

• The unit crosses back over the Vistula at Swibno using the ferry. They pay a lot to Gustaw, the leader at the crossing, and turn over the girl and Cutter's crew. Gustaw likely alerts the Soviets to their presence, which is not entirely unexpected. He's taking a mighty risk letting NATO forces use the ferry. Gustaw also turns over a new player to the group, Erich Hawkins.
  1st Engagement at Wislinka
  
• Major engagement takes place at Wislinka. 1 T-55, 1 BMP, 2 BTRs, additional troops and light vehicles.
  
• Captain Jennifer Gideon dies in the engagement.
  
• Tom P. Kelly gets a bullet in the face from a ricochet, but is otherwise unharmed.
  
• Holy shit. Oskar shoots Jan Krejcik, the Czech Hind pilot, when the pilot misunderstands a request to pass him an RPG (to kill the T-55).
  
• PC Group kills the BTRs, the BMP, the T-55, and a technical, but their Bradley has thrown a track and a running wheel after being hit by the BMP’s 73mm gun.
  
• The unit take ~7 Soviet Prisoners.
  
• After radioing to Matt Doyle in Gdansk, the Humvee then takes some players into Gdansk on Route 502 while others stay behind to guard the POWs and make camp in Wislinka. The Humvee goes into Gdansk to procure a drive wheel for the Bradley.
  
• The Humvee team meets Krzysztof Kaminski and his brother Otto, who takes the group to a hotel (that he owns, Hotel Europa) to meet with Matt Doyle.
  
• The meeting goes well. Doyle gives a rundown on Gdansk. Kaminski shares info on a salvager named Lada that can get them the missing part for the Bradley.
  
• Kaminski drives with the group to meet Lada, a local strongman/salvager. He sells (payment is ammo) the PCs info on where a broken-down Bradley is located, in the Jewish quarter neighborhood named Chelm. He also provides the PCs some info - there are captured American POWs somewhere in Gdansk, but he wants payment for the intel.
  1st Engagement at Chelm
  
• The Humvee team goes to grab the part from the broken-down Bradley and wanders into a 3-way firefight between unknown forces. The Humvee bravely parks in the middle of the firefight to try to save a girl and her father who also got trapped in the shootout.
  
• The PCs get the girl and her father to safety. The party also takes on Andrew Rooke during the encounter and meet a local, Zajac Narutowicz.
  
• The team gets to the broken down Bradley and starts taking the needed parts. They then evac back to the unit's main body.
