The City of Iskbridge, Fourth Age

Iskbridge, situated far to the north of the Province of Shasta, forms a vital link between the cold North and more temperate Southern regions, and is a hive of activity for traders and travellers. A permanent military presence protected the region during the War and continues to enforce law and order, under the Governorship of one Lord Harper, whilst remaining ready for any more incursions by the forces of Darkness. Designed and built by the best military architects of the day, Iskbridge is renowned for its wide, leafy streets and shady meadows, luxuries almost unheard of in more crowded climes.

Most of the major religions have a temple or shrine in the city, not unusual for a community that relies so much on the bounty of the Urthe Mother for their daily bread, but also in the countryside, where the fertile soil is tilled, and on the ships that haul their nets, the gods' praises are spoken. The land yields other rich treasures, especially prized by the southern merchants, especially the gold and jewels that Dwarves pull from the ground at Rocky Gap.
