Sorcerer (Mystic)

Background
Mystics are the masters of the Mind and Will, weavers of illusions, capable of influencing the hearts and souls of men. The Art is difficult to learn, requiring dedication, perseverance and self-denial. Those few that are suitable seek out a teacher, a Mystic of some accomplishment, who will instruct them in the simple skills of the Art, and show them how to contact the Realm of Shadow wherein the prospective Mystic must find their Spirit Guide who enables them to unlock their potential. Mystics may be perceived as shadowy manipulators, though few would voice their fears in the presence of a master of the Art. Finally, Mystics make no dramatic gestures nor have need of any material components relying on their silver tongues to shape the words and bend the minds of men to their bidding.

Dark Gods Ascendant
Most of the Mystics have been lured by the promises of power that the Dark Gods offer; many scour the lands reaching into the very thoughts of men to read their secrets and thus erode what little resistence remains. Though some, resisting the temptations offered, yet work to free the People, rather than enslave their minds.
