Nestled at the edge of Varisia, the town of Sandpoint faces it's sevenfold doom!
For decades, this small settlement has endured one potential disaster after the other, but each time, a hero or group of adventurers stepped up to save the day. The so-called Light of the Lost Coast, Sandpoint survived harrowing fires, prolific serial killers, destructive raids, and attacks by giants and dragons.
Yet now, something sinister aims to serve seven separate dooms upon Sandpoint and the region in a way that, if not thwarted in time by plucky band of local heroes, could bring sevenfold doom to the Light of the Lost Coast!
This game will use the Nimble 2E rpg rules.
Nimble bills itself as, and in my experience is, a streamlined D&D alike game system (class and level game) which pulls in many elements from both D&D 5e (2014) and Pathfinder 2e (remastered).
Nimble is not as complex as either of those games. It does retain a significant amount of character build options and useable character complexity. It also features tactical combat that arises from a fairly simple set of rules.
There is a free quick start package available for the game.
For anyone interested in joining the game, there would be no need to have any experience with the rules, and no need to invest in purchasing the rules. The game is easy to teach and easy to play.
Here's a balanced two-part review of the Nimble: Part 1 and Part 2.
This game is based upon a PF2e Adventure Path, specifically Seven Dooms For Sandpoint.
I have made modifications to the Lost Coast, to the Sandpoint hinterlands, to Sandpoint as a location, and to the Adventure Path to better suit my DMing style.
