In the absence of a functional Imperium, it has become a semi-autonomous agency, respected but not obeyed, tolerated but not empowered beyond what the station factions allow.
RRD-34’s structure is top-heavy, outdated, and riddled with exceptions—but functional when it needs to be.
========================
EXECUTIVE OFFICE
========================
The EXO is where high-level decisions are made, where emergencies are escalated, and where internal politics simmer.
- RRD-34 Director Cyra Bennek - The Acting Regional Director is the ultimate decision authority for major operations, political negotiations, and inter-faction disputes. They rarely enter the field and instead spend most of their time in a fortified corner office of the Operations Deck reviewing claims, signing off on emergency overrides, and arguing with League representatives. Cyra is a former mid-tier Imperial logistics officer who survived the Collapse and inherited the position as every superior vanished, fled, or died. Her leadership style is shaped by necessity: make the best decision you can with the resources you have, even if it’s the wrong one tomorrow.
- Operations Chief Jarret Vulgrim - The Ops Chief is the real power behind RRD-34’s success or failure. They control mission deployment, task assignments, rescue coordination, salvage clearance workflows, and tactical decisions during emergencies. The current ops chief is a former Fleet rescue lieutenant who lost his entire team during a rescue attempt gone wrong. He threw himself into work after arriving on Kerebos. Built the SRM division back from the edge of disbandment.
- Chief Engineer Minas Thurston - Former Hierate industrial engineer turned independent contractor. Is granted full supervisory authority over the Deep Well by the Warrant League and serves as acting Division Head of ESM.
- Division Heads: Marshall Karros (Head of COS), Quartermaster Landon Treiyarc (Head of LOGO), Raynore Blythe (Head of SRM), Dr. Hess Quillion (Head of SRD),
- Senior Dispatch Controller Anna Reevs - She was a sorting cleric in the old Imperial Bureau of Routing before everything fell apart. Dispatch is her kingdom — and she rules it with fierce precision. Supervises and directs the mission board.
- Duty Officers - Shift leads for active staff across all 3 shifts.
