Description : Sofia Collins is a native daughter of Hollowbrook, born and raised. Her father was a military man assigned to Fort Lewis, and her mother was a switchboard operator, and that is actually how the two met: when her father made a call and started chatting with her mother because he liked her voice. Sofia always loved that story. In fact, she loved finding out details and secrets ever since she was a little girl. To say she loved Nancy Drew novels would be an understatement. The Clue in the Crossword Cipher was her favorite one as a child. She eventually left Hollowbrook, and went to college at Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Illinois. She graduated with honors in 1977, but instead of going to a major newspaper, she decided to return to her hometown and go to work for the local paper, The Hollowbrook Tribune. Because there was always something...off about this place. Odd occurrences seemed to happen there more than other small towns. And so while Sofia will cover local events without complaint, she has never stopped trying to figure out the mysteries of Hollowbrook. She is a passionate and inquisitive young woman, who is always turning up in unexpected places, and working long hours. Which cost her a marriage three years ago. That hasn't slowed her down at all though.
