Description : Jatayu Seth is a kindly man with a deep passion for anything cinema related. Ever since he was a young boy, and he first saw the film King Solomon's Mines in 1950, he's been obsessed with films and film making. He was too young to remember British rule, but grew up hearing stories from his parents. After both school and working for over a decade, Jatayu actually emigrated to America in 1970 because he wanted to experience Hollywood first hand. He even attempted to get into acting, but to say the roles he was offered were...undesirable would be an understatement. His five year journey through LA ended in failure, and he left that place a little more cynical, but wiser. He eventually settled in Hollowbrook, where after much toil and saving, he was able to secure a loan to open a video rental store in 1981. He named it Seth's Video Palace (because Americans often have trouble with his first name), and it has been one of the best decisions of his life. Not only was he the first and only rental place in Hollowbrook, giving him a steady income, but he was allowed to watch and discuss films with customers all day. It has also given him to to work on several books on the history of cinema, which he has been working on for several years. He hopes to get them published some day. He can often be found behind the counter, typing away on his typewriter, smoking a pipe, and watching classic movies on the store's main television. He's always welcoming to new and regular customers alike.
