Denny's Machines started out thirty years ago as a car repair shop but over the years, the owner has branched out into repairing: motorcycles (after the Hells Angels asked him nicely); trucks (because those boys offered him a lot of money); boats (because this is Seattle); and on one magnificent occasion a helicopter (there was no client for that one but he repaired it anyway and then sold it on). It looks fairly rundown at first glance but remove the oil marks and a little cosmetic untidyness and you realise that this is a very well organised place.
