Here the Kingdom High Way is made of gravel. The land to either side is sprawling with farms and orchards. Many of these lands are close enough to the castle for their workers to visit the city. However, some, which are farther out and unable to walk so far have settled for village life, supporting their local communities, and neglecting the care for the road a bit.
