Dort

This lightly populated middle-class neighborhood was established around a few fortified churches and monasteries at the same time as Winchester.  The neighbor was originally named Dortchester, but has been shortened to Dort.  There is still a monastery complex complete with an excellent seminary.  The other churches, however, have become simple local places of worship devoid of the armories and zealots of earlier days.

Because of Dort's spread-out nature many residents have room for small farms (hops, oats, and barley are common crops), orchards, or vineyards.  Some local craftsmen have small cottage industries on their parcels of land.

Granite Rocks' airdepot was built here to take advantage of Dort's higher elevation, open fields, and close proximity to Wagontown.
