The Worldspine Mountains are an astounding mystery of nature, six immense mountain chains improbably converge, creating six vast regions of human occupation.

Each region has its own long history of settlement, having been mostly isolated from the others. However, adjacent regions have had occasional cross-contact with another, despite the great difficulty for anyone or anything to cross the natural borders outlined by the dense stony peaks.

(Surprisingly, the massive Worldspine Mountains are actually just one part of an even greater continent. Rumors from certain regions speak of an untamed Far East, a desolate Far West, and civilized lands to the south, which the numerous peoples of the Worldspine Mountains know precious little about...)

The Six Regions

The Six Chains

The Gazbar

Of the Six Chains, The Gazbar is the least perilous. It is still a very difficult journey.
Ut Stirak

Known by two ominous names (the Haunted Mountains to the Surfacers of Djaar, and the Shadowed Mountains to the Adzans), Ut Stirak remains a land of deep terror. Except for occasional horror stories of questionable veracity, the darkest of the Six Chains seems to be content to act as an imposing symbol of fear to the two regions that border it.
