The only of the Six Chains to be a home to humans, namely the Eunarak ethnicity. Though not many live here, they live well in small groups centered in three valleys.
The Eunarak people have long worshiped the Stars of the Night Sky, as well as the mountains that are believed to connect them to earth. Despite their rather primitive technologies, Eunarak astrology/astronomy is some of the most developed in the world.
Similar to, but greatly predating the Annaket's Heads of the Mountain, the holy spirits that reside within the Komminak Range are known as the Faces of the Mountain. Each of these pseudo-Gods resides within one or more peaks, and are associated to the point of equivocacy with a star or constellation, as reckoned by the Eunarak.
Perhaps by coincidence, reason or fate, the mountains that densely surround the three valley homes of the Eunarak are the only places where the Faces of the Mountain can be found.
The Faces of the Mountain have two forms. Their commonly-seen form is that of large, animate faces carved into certain peaks of the Komminak Range. Their true forms, usually only appearing in dreams or visions, are that of great, majestic animals with the faces of men. Their true forms are said to be imbued with an incomprehensible energy, somehow reminiscent of the stars above.
Overall, the Eunarak people live safe, simple lives filled with both wonder and tradition. They have a deep-seated respect towards elders, especially those who have made significant contributions to their people's knowledge.
There are also a scarce few live harsh, uncivilized lives as nomadic raiders against the proper settlements. In general, the Eunarak find these people to be both fearsome and pitiful. In the past, and even to this day, efforts have been made to accept and integrate these nomadic raiders into Eunarak society. This has normally not turned out well, except in cases where individual adoption took place at a young age.
Below is a guide to the Heads of the Mountains, which also acts as a guide to Tashaya's Constellations (Eunarak Reckoning):
