Temporary Hit Points:
- Cannot exceed normal HP When the effect grants temporary HP, it cannot raise the target's HP above hir maximum. Any points that would put hir current HP over the total are lost.
- Count as healing for stabilization purposes If the target is at 0 HP when the spell takes effect, the temporary HP stabilizes hir and puts hir on hir feet as if it were normal healing. Any wounds the subject suffered previously, if any, are suppressed for the duration of the effect and do not bother hir.
If the subject loses hir temporary HP because of damage, ze goes down from the new wounds and begins dying, as necessary. If the spell ends before the target runs out of temporary HP, it stops suppressing the prior wounds and they resume affecting the subject. In either case, unless the subject's Current Hit Points are above zero when the effect ends, ze becomes incapacitated but is still stabilized.
