Ethoria is a sprawling and diverse world, with various regions that boast unique landscapes and cultures. From bustling steampunk cities to mystical forest enclaves and floating sky islands, every corner of Ethoria has its own mysteries and secrets waiting to be unraveled.

Ethoria lies between the Fringeworlds (which include, for instance, Hannoc Station) and the Core, where Zamoz and the other "civilized" worlds exist.  It is the last bastion of true Imperial power before the Fringeworlds, and the first of the wild and rowdy nature of the Fringe.  It is one of the favorite haunts of Prince Leopold, and has gained because of his presence and patronage in ways gross and subtle.

  1. Aetherfall - The capitol and largest city of Ethoria.  The city of Aetherfall was the only large population center, but it had tens of millions of people, both on the ground and in a series of floating islands above, mixing steampunk with magical sensibilities in a stunning panorama.  At the heart of the city was the Convergence Nexus, a symbol of the world's unity of magic and science.  It was considered to be one of the near hits of a Great Artifact.  They could have been Zamoz, instead, but for a few hundred years.  Aetherfall showcases a unique blend of steampunk aesthetics and magical elements. Towers of gleaming metal and glass rise majestically alongside ancient, ornate spires adorned with glowing runes. Airships of various shapes and sizes dot the sky, adding to the city's sense of life and activity.

    • The Steamworks District: This district houses the heart of Aetherfall's technological wonders. It's a bustling area where inventors, engineers, and tinkerers work tirelessly to develop cutting-edge machines and advanced gadgets. The streets resonate with the clang of metal and the whirring of steam-powered contraptions.

    • The Arcane Quarter: At the heart of the city, the Arcane Quarter showcases the beauty of magic in Ethoria. Ancient libraries, mystical academies, and opulent magical guilds call this district home. Visitors marvel at the ethereal lights and floating structures powered by ancient enchantments.

    • The Market Bazaar: A vibrant and lively marketplace, the Market Bazaar is a kaleidoscope of colors, sounds, and scents. Here, traders from all corners of Ethoria gather to exchange rare artifacts, enchanted trinkets, and technological marvels. Adventurers and spies alike can be found weaving through the crowd, seeking valuable information or elusive treasures.

    • The Skyport: Located on the outskirts of Aetherfall, the Skyport is a vast platform where airships and spaceships dock and depart, connecting the city to distant lands and floating sky islands. It is a place of constant movement and excitement as travelers from all walks of life pass through its gates.

    • The Convergence Nexus: Aetherfall's most significant landmark is the "Convergence Nexus." This immense structure stands at the heart of the city, an architectural marvel that serves as both a symbol of unity between technology and magic and a source of immense power.
