WHISTLE OF THE AVIARY
This whistle enables he user to empathize with and control the emotions of any type of avian creature. Note that many monster can't be controlled by the use of this whistle, such as Griffons, and Pegasi. Up to twenty (5d4) avian the size of a giant rat can be controlled, up to twelve (3d4) man sized avian can be controlled, and up to four (1d4) that are larger. The wearer's control over creatures is so great he can even command them to kill themselves, but complete concentration is required. An avian with an intelligence of 5 or better are entitled to a save vs. spell to negate the effect.
The charming function of the whistle takes place upon any avian within sixty yards of the user. It can be used only once per day and only if there are no currently charmed creatures under its effect.
