HIGH MARKET ON THE PERCH
Perched atop Magnate Hill, the High Ward Market is a bustling, open-air bazaar of over three dozen stalls and tents catering to Falcon’s Hollow’s wealthier citizens. While many of the peasantry trudge up the slope to gawk at finery they cannot afford, a few walk away with trinkets, scraps, or secrets. Signs of construction hint at a future covered market, but for now, the stalls remain exposed to sun and storm alike.

Like all things in Falcon’s Hollow, the market is a profitable enterprise for the Consortium and the Baron. Stall owners pay steep weekly rents and offer a percentage of profits in exchange for space and security—enforced by no fewer than two guards during daylight hours.

Merchants rotate seasonally, but some return year after year, building a name and reputation atop the hill.

Gorluck's Leather
Owner: Gorluck (Human Male)
Imposing but friendly, Gorluck sells leather goods of all sorts: clothing, belts, sheaths, waterskins, backpacks, saddles, quivers, boots, and more. His work is sturdy, supple, and popular with adventurers and mercenaries alike.

Shippley & Sons
Owner: Roger Shippley (Human Male)
Tall, thin, and crowned with a wiry mustache, Roger runs the premier stall for equestrian gear. Bits, bridles, saddles, saddle blankets, grain, hay, and even barding can be arranged through him.

Armor All
Owner: Hylgrid (Dwarf Female)
A seasoned armor crafter offering helmets, shields, chainmail, and leather. Custom armor orders (splint, banded, plate) are available and may take 10�“90 days to complete, depending on material and design.

Assan’s Rugs
Owner: Assan Guilford (Elf Male)
Chubby and perpetually smiling, Assan offers a dazzling selection of rugs, carpets, tapestries, tablecloths, and finely embroidered goods. He swears every weave tells a story.

Blades
Owner: Timor (Dwarf Male)
Gruff and straight to the point, Timor sells sharp things. His collection includes swords, axes, polearms, picks, and fine daggers. Matching sheaths and scabbards are also available.

Mystic Eye
Owner: Madame DuVair (Human Female)
A stooped and aged fortune teller who reads palms, throws bones, consults her crystal ball, and sells incense, potions, and “home remedies.” Whether she is a true seer or clever charlatan is debated over tea and tankards alike.

Shooters
Owner: Symian (Elf Male)
A quiet marksman and bowyer offering bows, crossbows, slings, darts, javelins, arrows, bolts, and pouches. Symian’s work is practical and precise, like the elf himself.

Stowage
Owner: Mathilda Brentworth (Human Female)
Elegant and serious, Mathilda deals in storage solutions: trunks, chests, strongboxes, pouches, satchels, and all manner of bags, some mundane, some rumored to be magical.

Scribner’s
Owner: Demetria (Human Female)
Barely more than a girl, Demetria tends a stall of writing tools with surprising expertise. Paper, parchment, ink, quills, seals, maps, and wax blocks can all be found here.

Clothier
Owner: Charles Bonneville (Human Male)
An older man with a silver tongue and good taste. Charles sells hats, cloaks, boots, belts, and clothing made of cotton, wool, leather, and the occasional fine silk.

Illuminaire
Owner: Talmoth (Human Male)
Torches, oil, lamps, lanterns, flint, tinder, and various candle types fill this luminous stall. Talmoth is a practical man with a fascination for rare fuels and everburning flame.

Braddock’s Blunts
Owner: Braddock (Dwarf Male)
Surly and loud-voiced, Braddock sells every weapon designed for smashing rather than slashing. Maces, hammers, staves, clubs, flails—you name it, he’s got it (and will probably demonstrate it).

Outdoor Outfitters
Owner: Miles Fenwick (Human Male)
Cheerful and always sun-tanned, Miles sells tents, tarps, blankets, bedding, and everything a would-be explorer needs to sleep under the stars (or survive the Hollow’s woods).

Fresh Buns
Owner: Francisca (Gnome Female)
This cheerful baker peddles breads, rolls, pastries, and confections fresh from her bakery, which also supplies local inns and taverns. Her honey-apple rolls are especially popular.

Almay’s Spicerack
Owner: Almay Greenleaf (Human Female)
From cinnamon to powdered nightshade, Almay carries an array of culinary and arcane spices. Her stall smells heavenly and is frequented by both chefs and hedge-witches.

Mandivar’s
Owner: Joseran Mandivar (Hin Male)
Bustling, rotund, and always dusting, Joseran offers ceramics, glassware, plates, bowls, and fine cutlery. Every item has a price tag and a story—some truer than others.

Eloise Parfumerie
Owner: Eloise (Elf Female)
Beautiful and enchanting, Eloise sells perfumes, scented soaps, oils, and sachets of dried herbs. Her tent is the most fragrant stall in the market, and some claim her products have magical allure.

Vilnius’ Melodies
Owner: Vilnius Fabreau (Human Male)
A tall, thin man with a gentle voice and a love for music. His stall carries everything from flutes and viols to harpsichords and lutes. Custom work available upon commission.

Talus Magus
Owner: Talus (Human Male)
An ancient-looking man in faded robes, Talus provides herbs, spell components, rare powders, and arcane oddities. His prices are fair—his memory, less so.
