Stats

Stats make up the core concept of the character expressed in numerical form. They range from -2 to +2 or, for advanced characters, +3.
Use Brawn any time you solve a problem by outrunning or applying muscle to it.
Use Charm if you talk to somebody else about your problem to solve it.
Use Psyche when you solve a problem through dedication and hard work.
Use Smarts whenever you use intelligence or logic to solve a problem.
Use Wyrd if you bring mystical or karmic forces to bear to solve your problem.

Each of these stats has a rating from -2 to +2. Experienced players can advance a stat to +3, if they choose.

Resilience represents your ability to turn potential damage into a near-miss. Each point of Resilience negates one level of Wound or Trauma once per session.
Luck represents fate, karma, or sheer bullheadedness: the ability to turn a loss into a win through pure chance. Each point of Luck can be spent to upgrade a single success from failure to partial success or partial to total success once per session.
