Weapons

Every weapon has an accuracy rating, base damage dice, cost, weight, and special properties. Most have 1 special property, but some might have more. Some might have drawbacks and flaws too. Typically an item is priced based on the number of special properties it has plus it's size and whether it is hi-tech or magic or not. Simply for being hi-tech or magic it costs more.

WeaponAccuracyDamageWeightCostProperties
Light Type A+31d2N*Very LowAny 1 property or 2 properties and 1 flaw
Light Type B+21d41Very LowAny 1 property or 2 properties and 1 flaw
Standard Type A+11d62LowAny 1 property or 2 properties and 1 flaw
Standard Type B+01d84LowAny 1 property or 2 properties and 1 flaw
Heavy Type A-11d106StandardTwo-handed, + any 2 properties or 3 properties if you add a flaw
Heavy Type B-21d128StandardTwo-handed, + any 2 properties or 3 properties if you add a flaw
*Negligible weight, only bother counting it as 1 weight per 10 of them.

Example: Short sword, longsword, and greatsword would just be light type B, standard type B, and heavy type B each with the Keen property (threaten a critical hit on a Natural 19). The greatsword, due to having the two handed flaw would also have an additional property say Reach if it's a zweihänder or deadly x3 damage on a critical if it's a standard greatsword.

You could make pistols ranged weapons. Add Close range with 6 ammo to a weapon is free as ranged weapons provoke attacks of opportunity (trade-off). You could add 1 ammo instead and give Quick Reload to create bows. "Extra Ammo" and "Limited Ammo" are perks and flaws that can be stacked.
