Effect You attempt to traverse through a physical obstacle such as a narrow surface or uneven, shaky, or slippery ground. Some skills can allow you to traverse certain obstacles and access certain things you otherwise couldn't This could be nearly anything such as balancing across a tight rope, barreling through a blocked doorway, picking a lock, hacking a computer network, schmoozing with the guards to let you backstage, or slipping past foes unnoticed. Depending on the task it may simple requiring only 1 or 2 successes or it could be complex requiring 3 or more successes.
Notes Acrobatics is the most commonly used skill for this action, but you would use Athletics instead if the obstacle is burrowing, climbing, or swimming. Some obstacles might require other skills as well as noted in their description.



EXAMPLES

DR 10 Walking through tangled cords or rocky terrain or climbing up a ladder, steep slop, or low-branched tree.
DR 15 Balancing across a steel beam or climbing a rigging, knotted rope, or regular tree
DR 20 Trudging through knee-deep marsh waters or ankle-deep gravel or climbing a wall with small handholds and footholds
DR 25 Balancing on a tightrope or slick sheet of ice or climbing a ceiling with handholds and footholds
DR 30 Running across falling debris in midair, balancing on the edge of a blade, or climbing a nearly smooth surface
