Egon Dusk
Egon Dusk V is the great great grandchild of the founder of the modern Pylon Corporation. His entire family lineage has maintained private control over the corporation for six generations. Though Pylon claims its founding dates back to before the Cataclysm, this is unconfirmed. The company's claim is that they were arbiters of industry and technology and helped to save many during the Cataclysm, thus it's later revival by families of survivors once humanity began recovering.
Egon himself is a strange and reclusive person, much like his father and grandfather before him. He is rarely seen in public and prefers to operate the company from behind the scenes. However, being one of the wealthiest men in the solar system it's hard for his movements to go unnoticed. He's also somewhat of a controversial figure, often spouting pro-terraforming and militaristic rhetoric most Martians prefer but also the pro-immigration and integration rhetoric that most Belters prefer despite being headquartered and residing on Terra.
He has made the claim many times that he'll one day take humanity to other stars as "easily as a walk in the park".
