Action 1 or more
Target 1 suit of armor you carry
Check Guard
Effect It normally takes 1 minute (10 actions) to don light armor, 3 minutes (30 actions) for medium armor, and 10 minutes (100 actions) for heavy armor unless noted otherwise in the armor's description. You reduce the total number of actions needed by half your check result to a minimum of 1 action. The GM rolls in secret and tells you when you're finished if you attempt to don armor during an action scene. If you hastily don armor, you can do so in half the time (before applying your check) but the armor's benefits also only function half the time as if suffering from the broken condition (but not treated as broken for any other effects such as sundering an item).
