The Deception skill encompasses a creature's ability to bluff, deceive, hoodwink, manipulate, swindle, or trick others either through mundane lies and disguises or through staged illusions. Skill uses include the following actions:
FEINT
Action 1 action
Target 1 creature within Melee range
Effect During combat, you attempt to make your foes think you're going to do one thing, but instead do another.
- Critical Success: Target is off-guard against you until the start of your next turn.
- Success: Target is off-guard against you until the end of your current turn.
- Critical Failure: You are off-guard against the target until the end of your current turn.
