Slowed
A slowed creature has trouble moving around.
Stage 1 (Slowed): A slowed creature cannot shift or sprint and moves at half speed. Leaving the range of a sustained effect imposing this condition (such as escaping the reach of a foe grappling you) ends this condition, unless noted otherwise. Any attempt to use focus, material, or somatic components has at least a 25% failure chance.
Stage 2 (Immobilized): As stage 1 plus the creature is off-guard 1 and has all their speeds reduced to 0. Any attempt to use somatic or external material components or external focus components has at least a 50% failure chance.
Stage 3 (Grappled): As stage 1 plus the creature is off-guard 2, has all their speeds reduced to 0, and has disadvantage on all attack and skill rolls except opposed skill rolls made against the grappler and attacks rolls using light melee weapons made against the grappler. Any attempt to use somatic or external material components or external focus components has at least a 75% failure chance.
Stage 4 (Pinned): As stage 3 but the creature is also off-guard 3 and any attempt to use somatic or external material components or external focus components has at least a 100% failure chance.
