Impaired



An impaired creature has one or more of their senses impaired.

Stage 1: The creature suffers disadvantage on Initiative rolls and on Perception rolls based on the impaired sense. For example, if your hearing were impaired, you suffer disadvantage on hearing-based Perception checks. Upon first gaining this condition, they are also Staggered 1 for 1 round.

Stage 2: As stage 1 but they automatically fail Perception rolls based on the affected sense and are Staggered 1. Upon first gaining this condition, they are also Staggered 2 for 1 round. If all their precise senses are impaired to Stage 2 or greater, they also gain the Slowed 1 condition and all targets they attack have total Concealment against them.

Stage 3: As stage 2 but they are also Slowed 1 and Staggered 1. Upon first gaining this condition, they are also Staggered 2 for 1 round.

Stage 4: As stage 2 but they are also Slowed 1 and Staggered 2. Upon first gaining this condition, they are also Staggered 3 for 1 round.
