Curse
A curse is a magical effect that is harder to remove than normal effects. They typically have a difficulty rating that is 5 or more points higher than normal for its tier and a specific set of conditions that need to be met in order to remove them. However, if those conditions are met, the curse is lifted without the need for any additional resistance rolls. Effects that specifically target curse effects, ignore the curse's increase in difficulty and use the normal calculations. Curses typically have two difficulty ratings to denote these differences.
