This effect surrounds the target with a shimmering antimagic aura. Magical powers, items, and effects originating within, passing through, or targeting anything inside the field have their effective tier reduced by this effect’s tier. If reduced to tier 0, the effect is immediately dispelled upon being activated, or suppressed for the duration if already ongoing. If a magical effect originates outside the field and only part of it enters, only that portion is affected (such as a fireball affecting creatures outside the field).
Antimagic Ray (+1): The spell's area becomes "1 object or creature within reach". The affected target and their space are considered the antimagic field's area.
