INNATE ABILITIES (9 XP)
- Athleticism (2 XP): Vanara have Acrobatics and Athletics as class skills. If they have these skills as class skills from another source, they gain a +2 innate bonus to them instead.
- Bite (1 XP): You have a bite attack dealing 1d4 piercing damage.
- Expert Climbing (4 XP): You gain a 20-foot brachiation and climb speed. You can take 10 or 20 on skill rolls made to climb, even in dangerous and stressful situations.
- Low-light Vision (1 XP): You ignore penalties to your attack rolls and Perception rolls and DCs caused by dim lighting conditions. This doesn't grant you the ability to see in total darkness.
- Prehensile Tail (2 XP): Vanara can use their tail as a third arm to pick up and hold items and to help climb. This doesn't grant you the ability to use your tail for any other purpose.
VARIANTS

Sasquatch: Unlike Vanara, sasquatches resemble apes instead of monkeys. They have much smaller tails or no tails at all and much larger muscles. They get +2 Str instead of Dex and gain Camouflage instead of Prehensile Tail.
Yeti: Unlike Vanara, sasquatches resemble apes instead of monkeys. They also have white fur and blueish skin. They have much smaller tails or no tails at all and much larger muscles. They get +2 Con instead of Dex and gain Cold Resistance instead of Prehensile Tail.
ADDITIONAL ABILITIES
Vanara begin with their innate traits and can gain additional traits from the following list as feats.
Claws (1 XP): You gain a claw attack dealing 1d4 slashing damage.
Disarming Tail (1 XP): You can use your tail as a third arm to make Disarm and Steal attempts. This doesn't grant you the ability to use your tail for any other purpose.
Effective Tail (2 XP): You must have a Disarming Tail and Tripping Tail to select this feat. You can wield a light melee weapon with your tail as if it were a third arm. This doesn't grant you the ability to use your tail for any other purpose.
Fast Climb (3 XP): Your climbing and brachiating speeds increase to 30 feet.
Favored Terrain (3 XP): Select one favored terrain your species is native to. You gain the Favored Terrain feat for that terrain.
Hit the Ground Running (3 XP): As the feat.
Tripping Tail (1 XP): You can use your tail as a third arm to make Grapple and Trip attempts. This doesn't grant you the ability to use your tail for any other purpose.
