Unavoidable
Unavoidable effects deal half damage on a miss (but not critical miss). This is also a +1 property that can be added to a weapon and +1 upgrade that can be added to an attack effect that deals damage. It can also be added to a healing effect that heals hit points but requires a roll in order to function so that it always heals half even on a failure.
This doesn't apply any other effects on a failure (such as persistent damage, poison, or other conditions).
