When you roll initiative, you can roll twice and take either result. This spell ends once you've entered initiative a number of times equal to this effect's tier, this effect ends.
4rd tier: For the duration, you can always act in the surprise round, but if you fail to notice the ambush, you act last, regardless of your initiative result (you act in the normal order in following rounds).
6th tier: When you roll initiative, you can roll a third dice if you don't like the result of the first two and keep any of the three results. However, when you do this, it counts as entering initiative twice for the purposes of how many times you can enter initiative before this effect ends.
