Success: As a failure, but the duration is reduced to 1 round per tier, and they can make a new saving throw every round to end this effect.
Failure: The creature's soul is pulled into the focus leaving their body unconscious and unable to awaken but alive for the duration. The container is closed as part of this effect, but opening or destroying it ends this effect and returns the creature's soul to its body.
Each time the target's body or the container is damaged, the target gets a new saving throw to end this effect. If the body suffers from an ailment that harms them over the course of longer durations than round-by-round (such as disease, poison, starvation, or thirst) they get a new save only once per interval of harm. For example, a poison that dealt it's harmful effects once per minute would grant a new save only once per minute.
Any attempt to possess the target's body as per Possession or similar effects, automatically succeeds while their soul is trapped in the container. If the body is still possessed when this effect ends, the target makes rolls against the possession normally as they re-enter their own body treating it as an initial casting of the possession effect at that time and possibly shunting out the possessor.
Critical Failure: As a failure but the target does not get additional saving throws when their body or the container is damaged.
Tier 2: The duration increases to 24 hours.

Tier 5: The duration increases to 1 year.
Tier 6: The duration increases to 1 decade.
Tier 7: The duration increases to 1 century.
Tier 8: The duration increases to 1 millennia.
Tier 9: The duration increases to permanent.
Body Imprisonment (+1): The target's body is also magically trapped within the container and affected as if by Temporal Stasis of the same tier while this is in effect.
