ROGUISH MAGE
This archetype can be applied to the battle mage and war mage class.
Requirements: Alchemical, arcane, elemental, occult, or primal casting.
Losses:
- Knowledge (planes), Linguistics, Ride class skills.
- 2nd-, 10th, 18th level augment.
Gains:
- You gain the following class skills: Knowledge (society) (if you lost planes), Perception (if you lost linguistics), and Stealth if you lost Ride. If you already have the skills gained you dont lose the initial ones.
- Sneak Attack as a Slayer of your same level.
- You can use an augment to gain a Ninja Trick, Rogue Talent, Slayer Talent, Social Talent, or Vigilante talent. Your effective Ninja, Rogue, Slayer, and Vigilante for these purposes is equal to twice the number of times you've used an augment to gain one of these abilities (including the ones sacrificed to get this archetype) or your class level, whichever is lower. With Gm permission you can select other class features from those classes as augments as well.
- You can gain Hidden Master, Master Strike, Master Slayer, or Vengeance Strike as an alternate capstone if you have at least least 5 augments used to gain abilities from the selected class. For example, Hidden Master is the capstone for Ninja, so you would need to take at least 5 Ninja Tricks in order to take that capstone.
Optional: You can choose to lose Eldritch Armor, Eldritch Shield, Shield Proficiency, and Armor Proficiency and gain Lesser Eldritch Armor, Canny Defense, and Eldritch Dodge as a Monastic Mage, but don'thave to.
