PREPARED SPELLCASTING
Tier 1
Types Magic
Prerequisites Magic Tradition, Spellcasting

Benefits The first time you gain this feat, you choose one magic tradition you're proficient with: alchemy, arcane, biotic, divine, elemental, occult, primal, tech.

All 0-level spells you learn from the chosen tradition are prepared for you. This means during your daily preparations (minimum 1 hour) you can switch which spells you "know" for the day by referencing a spellbook. A spellbook is usually a literal book with spells inscribed in it, but it can be any item or creature that has such information stored in it (such as a Witch's familiar).

Scribing a spell into a spellbook requires 1 hour of study and writing per spell tier and costs an amount of materials equal to Spell Tier2 x 3 gp.

Each time you gain this feat after the first, you can select a new tradition to apply its effects to or increase the spell tiers it applies to by one. Each tier increase applies to all traditions this applies to. For example, if you took this feat three times, selecting Alchemy the 1st time, Arcane the 2nd time, and increasing the tier to 1st the third time, both you Alchemy spells (formerly "extracts") and Arcane spells of tier 0 and tier 1 would be prepared.
