Powrie

Powrie are small mushroom-like humanoids known for their dual natures of being both extremely curious and extremely shy. Powrie are fungi and have no mouth but eat by absorbing their environment.

Osmosis: Treat all poisons as ingested on contact.

No Mouth: Cannot speak or use verbal components or anything that requires a mouth. Can consume potions and other items by merely pouring it on themselves. They are innately able to substitude somatic components for verbal components for any magic tradition they are trained in.

Redcap: Some powrie have consumed flesh or blood and developed a red tint to their caps. These powrie possess bloodlust and rage ability like orcs.

powries experience individuality as a mutation. Many struggle between personal will and the biological urge to spread the colony. Even benevolent powries may view death and rebirth as natural, necessary cycles rather than moral acts.
