Activation: 2 actions (Standard)

Target: 1 creature, object, or space you perceive within Long range

Rolls: Intelligence (Linguistics) or Charisma (Perform: Oratory)



You send a telepathic message to the target creature, object, or space. If you target a creature or object, only that target receives the message. If you target a space, any creature sharing that space or adjacent to it perceives the message.

The message is sent in one language you know, so those receiving it don't necessarily understand it.

You can only send up to a number of words equal to your roll result. Any additional words beyond that limit are not transmitted.



Broadcast (+1): You don't have to perceive the target but can instead designate a specific individual you believe is within range (the effect fails if they aren't) or designate the nearest type of target within range such as "nearest humanoid" or "nearest sapient mind" and so forth. If you take this a second time you can broadcast the message out to all applicable targets within range.

Communique (+1): You can sustain this effect up to 1 minute as an action each round allowing those perceiving your message to respond in the same way, though they must make their own rolls and use at least one action to do so on their turn. If you apply this a second time, those responding to you can do so as a free action on their turn or reaction outside their turn and you can sustain it as a free action on your turn.

Encryption (+1): You encrypt the signal ensuring only those you designated can understand it. Anyone else eavesdropping on the signal somehow must make an Intelligence (Linguistics) roll against the DC of this effect +10 or DC20 + your Linguistics bonus (whichever is greater) in order to crack the code. Applying this a second time increases this DC by 10.

Tongues (+1): You can send your message in all languages you know, automatically syncing with listeners so that they understand your message so long as they share at least one language with you. Taking this a second time allows all creatures capable of language to understand your message, even if they do not share a language.
