You drain the target's energy, taking it for yourself.

Critical Success Target is unaffected.

Success As a failure except the target loses only 1d6 MP per tier.

Failure The target loses 2d6 MP per tier of this effect and you gain that same amount of temporary MP. If the target has no more MP to lose, it takes nonlethal damage equal to the additional MP it would've lost. If the target is a magic item, it takes lethal damage instead of nonlethal. If the target is an Ethereal, Incorporeal, Spirit, or Undead creature, they also lose this same number of hit points.

Critical Failure The target loses 12 MP per tier of this effect and you gain that same amount of MP. If already full on MP, any additionally drained MP is gained as temporary MP.
