Magic Proficiency

Magic, Proficiency

Prerequisites: One mental attribute 11+, all mental attributes 3+

Selection: Select two types. This can be anything from a school of magic such as abjuration, biomancy, chronomancy, conjuration, divination, enchantment, evocation, illusion, necromancy, or transmutation or effect types such as Acid, Auditory, Cold, Curse, Electricity, Emotion, Fire, Mental, Summoning, Sympathetic, Teleport, Trickery, Visual, etc.

You become proficient with your selected types giving you a +3 proficiency bonus to all DCs and attack and caster level rolls and concentration rolls to cast defensively that you make with those powers.

You must be proficient with all of a power's types to gain this benefit.

Example:
Eron the Evocator is proficient with the following types: Evocation, Cold, Creation, Electricity, Fire, Light, Sonic, and Transmutation.

He would get his proficiency bonus with spells like Cone of Cold, Fireball, Lightning Bolt, Wall of Ice, Wall of Fire, and even Create Water and Freeze Water.

However, if he attempted to cast Glitterdust (Evocation, Light, Visual), he would not get his proficiency bonus because even though he's proficient with Evocation and Light, he's not proficient with Visual effects.

He can take Magic Proficiency as a feat and select two more types to become proficient with more fields of magic with no limit to the number of times he can take the feat.

Special This ability can be taken multiple times, making a new selection each time.
