Kasha

Kasha are feline humanoids hailing from both the eastern and western continents, a people defined by curiosity, cunning, and agility. While all kasha value exploration, culture and temperament vary significantly by origin.

Kasha adventurers retain the diversity of their tribes. Eastern kasha favor shadowy, manipulative, or magical pursuits. Southern kasha pursue communal or hunting roles. Bakeneko integrate easily into urban settings, with strong social or magical niches. Kasha are versatile across ranger, druid, sorcerer, bard, monk, or even unconventional paths like necromancer or rogue.
Physical Description

Kasha vary widely in size and fur pattern depending on subrace. Eastern kasha are lithe and muscular, with shadow-hued coats. Bakeneko are small, nimble, and soft-furred. Jungle kasha have striking tiger stripes, while savannah kasha have golden manes or tawny coats. All have feline ears, tails, retractable claws, and slit pupils.

Society

Kasha culture blends exploration, survival, and tribal cooperation. Eastern kasha tribes favor secrecy, shadowy rites, and magical prowess, slave trade, and their greedy and hedonistic ways.
Southern kasha favor structured hunting groups or communal hierarchies. Bakeneko typically integrate into humanoid settlements, often as artisans, mages, or scouts.

Leadership is earned through skill, wisdom, or magical talent, rather than birth. Even in cities, kasha value tribal cohesion, extending familial bonds to trusted outsiders.

Relations
Kasha are generally curious and adaptable. Eastern kasha are often feared for their shadow magic and abduction practices, while southern kasha are respected for hunting and leadership. Bakeneko are usually welcomed for their playful demeanor and magical potential. Kasha interact amicably with elves, humans, gnomes, and halflings, while disdaining goblins, ratfolk, and chaotic orcs.

Alignment
Most bakeneko trend toward chaotic good, valuing personal freedom alongside communal responsibility. Eastern kasha lean toward neutral or chaotic alignments due to morally ambiguous practices, while southern kasha favor lawful structures within their communities.
