Kami



Kami are spirits native to the material realm that protect aspects of the world be it niche concepts, types of creatures, specific behaviors or practices, ecosystems, or even specific small locations like a particular mountain or river. As they all have a unified goal of protecting the balance of all things, kami loosely work together whenever the balance is threatened, though they primarily care for whatever their charge or ward is.
