Ironguard
Though technically a fort belonging to the Dwarven empire of Nidavellir, Ironguard stands tall out in the White Wastes serving as a border between Jotunheimr and dwarven territory. It's isolation also leaves its leadership more autonomy than any other Dwarven state as they are all that stands between peace and invasion. It is said that Ironguard is so well-armed, they have the means to take down even the great dragons. Their elite force, the Iron Guard, for whom the location was named, are some of the best trained fighters and survivalists in the world.
The massive Iron Gate that serves as the only way past Ironguard lays in a valley upon which a border wall winds through other mountains and valleys, creating a border wall that extends for miles. The surrounding area is already harsh terrain, making it nearly impossible to pass without Dwarven approval.
