Intrigue




The variant systems listed here are subsystems that can be incorporated into existing tabletop roleplaying games. They are designed to encourage and create roleplaying opportunities for players beyond simply combat and physical exploration.

A GM can incorporate these intrigue systems into their games to add additional flavor and roleplaying opportunities into their game. They also help the GM build upon the narrative and sew each player character's unique story and personality together into their overarching story.

Some of these intrigue systems come as package deals, one cannot be incorporated without the other. Most of them will require BREAKING POINTS and SURGES to be incorporated into the game first in order for any of these other intrigue systems to be added.
