Imperius

Though often just called "the Imperium" outside it's borders, it is called by it's name "Imperius" among Imperial citizens. It is also sometimes referred to its older title as the "Imperium of Man", but as other races are now welcome in the imperium, such terminology is now considered out of date except by more traditional or xenophobic imperials. Imperius is both the name of the imperium itself as well as the name of it's capitol city where the emperor's palace, senate, and house of commons are all located in a semicircle in the center of the city.
