Hyperborea
Beyond even the bounds of the White Wastes of Boreas, god of the North winds, lay the icy tundra and mountains of Hyperborea. Few travel these lands, as the frigid cold and winds and lack of life often mean certain death.
However, there exists a legend of giant inhabitants of this place who hide from the chill in a sunny, temperate, and divinely-blessed oasis hidden in the mountains. Their ranks included frost giants, cyclopsi, and many other giants. They are known as the Hyperboreans.
Abaris the Healer was a famous Hyperborean that travelled the world teaching and practicing magical healing on his journeys. Despite these rumors and legends, no one has been able to find Hyperborea to prove it's existence.
